Behind the door bathroom cabinet

I had one door left from Dad's workshop squirreled away for a special project. I love the re-
claimed wood look. AND this has sentimental value too. (Thanks Dad)
My bathroom clutter had begun to take over and there was no handy spot to stash it. When company came I would bag it up and put it in the towel cabinet but then would need it and it became a real issue and source of irritation. George put up with it and worked around it. Anyway, this was my solution and I love it.

The core is made of 1 x 6 ( actually 3/4 X 5 1/2.....why do they list it this way GRRRRR) I used my Kreg Jig that I got last Christmas to join the door panels and the shelves. I had also squirreled away some special door hardware that I found at a yard sale some years ago and used it on this door. It's silver with a torquoise stone in the center. Here are the pictures. The inside view shows the pocket holes in the door..(the white areas ), I also used wood glue to secure and clamped it to dry. I got the white wire baskets at the Rangeley Landfill building (free) - cleaned them up and lined three with fabric so that the small items, jewelry etc. would not fall through.
NOW my lotions and potions are organized and in one area. Love it!!

I needed more hidden storage boxes and thankfully I still had some of the fabric used here. Here's what resulted: The picture show them as I went, a take apart cardboard box, spray adhesive and a craft knife....Voila!
